Hi All, I am a writer/director with a few micro shorts to my credit and I have a screenplay in development that is a "dark and wacky" (says famed indie producer/godmother Debbie Brubaker) family comedy that combines themes of gay parents, transvestism, gentrification, obsession, addiction and vanishing Americana. Budget: $500K. Comps: "Hesher" "Paris, Texas" "Ed Wood" and John Waters. It has been favorably reviewed by several readers with produced, theatrically distributed credits to their name. I'm looking for a producer who has a track record of development, pre-production and production, not only of his/her own work but of others. If this sounds up your alley, and you'd like to learn more, let's discuss. I can send you log line and synopsis. Serious inquiries only please. I live in NYC. Wishing everyone best of luck on their projects. Best, --David Savage
Hi David, Just read the synopsis of The First Film- a film I'd love to see at some stage. I've met David at Guerilla- ace bloke- and his film sounds fascinating. Good luck on Stage 32. Tony
Hi Tony -- Sorry but I'm not following. I never wrote a film called The First Film and I'm not sure who David is, apart from me (?). Can you clarify? Maybe I haven't had enough coffee yet! :-/
Oh crap... This is what happens when "copy-and-paste" goes wrong. Sorry; it was intended for someone else. Many apologies. Tony
