My day was made when I got my first request for my script from my written pitch – I guess 8 times a charm! The feedback I received from each "pass" submission really made me strategize about how to better my pitch, and today it paid off :) SO EXCITED! #fingerscrossed Thanks Joey and Stage32 for these amazing opportunities!

Courtney I am on number five of passes from my written pitches and I was getting discouraged. Thank you for persevering, continuing to pitch your work and not giving up! You just inspired me not to give up too! Whether or not it took eight times, Congratulations, you did it! Now the world is your stage! :)

That's generally correct, You usually get your first job at about the seventh or eight script. Good Job!!!
That is great news Courtney! Very happy for you.
Don't forget to get a contract. Make sure an Entertainment Lawyer sits in with you, yes, you'll have to pay him, but he'll make you more money in the long run.
