Introduce Yourself : Indie Filmmaker in Chicago by Steven Payne

Hi everyone, I've worked in film more years than I'm willing to admit - doing crew work, work in theatre (you know the routine). I've been active on Stage 32 for what, about a year, maybe and it's been great. I participated in one of the Stage 32 pitches and the studio I pitched to made an immediate request to read the script, so that's a nice feather in my cap. I've been optioned before, and know how that runs, and I'm ready for whatever this new opportunity delivers. As an indie filmmaker (writer, director) I've had 3 of my shorts run in festivals so far this year.
