SANDRA M. REED was born in New Roads, Louisiana. She received her B.A. in English and Drama Education from Dillard University. She is a veteran teacher of the Chicago Public Schools. As a member of Actor's Equity Union, she has performed in dance companies, plays and musicals throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. Sandra is also a member of SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators), Chicago Screenwriters Network, Chicago Women in Publishing, ARRAY Now ( Artists and Advocates for Independent Film Distribution and Resource), and Sundance Institute member.
Sandra has recently published her first novel Buckwheat's Journey. This novel is a multi-cultural/ethic middle grade fiction yet invites reading on all multi-levels or age groups. It is a light-hearted yet evocative perspective of stereotype and bullying. She is presently working tirelessly on revising a screenplay but loves it.
Sandra appreciates the creative process in all forms. Three words describe her: Live, Laugh, and Love.

Revive Us Again Drama Revive Us Again is a blend of One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Stand and Deliver except the worlds of the juvenile and elderly is smashed together and though span of years separates them, they discover some commonality, which bridges the gap and revive them again.
