Hello, I've graduated with a B.A. in Film and Television Production from a school that doesn't really specialize in media arts. I mean, I like the program, but I feel I missed out on so much. Would it be crazy to apply to Southern Cal to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Screenwriting? I would have two bachelor's in practically the same major, just from two different schools.
Crazy? No. Necessary? I don't know... However, I don't think there's ever anything wrong with working on becoming better at a craft or as a human. How you do it is, (in my humble opinion) not nearly as important as WHY.
In the end, you'll just be wasting money. Screenwriting is about talent and script, that's all. As you can see from just looking on here alone everyone wants or claims to be a screenwriter; but in the end will never sell a script, and that's the harsh reality of this business. You would be better off taking that money and moving to L.A. and trying to start out as a script reader or learn a production job while you just continue to write. If you want to continue education, get a MFA from a place like USC, and with that Masters you can teach. Getting two bachelors in the same program is a waste of money and your time. The percentage of writers who make a complete living writing is extremely small.

Enroll in a specialize Screenwriting Program like UCLA's writer's program. No need to pursue a second B.A., like Robert said, your money could be put to better use. If you're in Cali or ready to make a move for your aspirations, then look for any opportunity to work in the biz, as a reader, assistant, mail clerk, etc.
