I'm a film junkie...used to be married to a documentary producer, so I have some background. Presently I'm a published author. I've written five published novels which would make good films with a lot of plot. I know something about film from some editing on short industrial documentaries I did years ago. I'd like to try my hand at writing a screen play and begin with a short Christmas romance novella I've published that would make a good TV feature film. I need a recommendation for some formatting software for film scripts that is simple to use, since Microsoft Word is all i know for novels. I work on a MAC Pro. Recommend? I'm not sure how this board works, but I have a website; http://joycezeller.com
Congratulations on the novels, Joyce! For screenwriting, I use Final Draft.
I've been writing on Word {Mac} for ever and have let a friend talk me into Celtx, I downloaded it and it is nice and safe on my desktop. I like my old typewriter {MAC}, maybe I'll try something new.
I go the Celtx way currently.
