About Christopher

As I continue to study film to further mature my opinions and theories on what works and why, I develop my command of cinematic grammar. This grammar lies, I believe, in the history, theory, and aesthetics of Cinema, which are just as important to learn as the technical aspects. My main goal is to be able to read a script and develop my own, original take on the material, and bring it to the screen. I want to learn to translate my personal views of, and comments on, the human condition, into visually striking and artistic films to provide an outlet for social discourse.

As an artist, I want my films to strike a balance between the commercial and the artistic. I aspire to both entertain people and to deliver profound, thought-provoking messages in a beautiful and original way; a way that will get inside their heads, rattle around, and shake things up. My thoughts and opinions vary from film to film. I like and dislike certain films for various reasons that sometimes contradict each other.

Unique traits: Eyes are two different shades of green.
