I love indie filmmaking in this digital age of cinematography. My approach is a blend of old school having started my career shooting film with new school camera systems and production approaches. All in all, a great time to be making films. Drop me a message if you think I would be a good fit for your film. Curt Apduhan - Cinematographer Drama Showreel https://vimeo.com/81175053
Thank you Julie. I'm glad you noticed the consistency of the "look" of my reel. I decided to create a drama show reel that leaves the viewer with a sense of my cinematic style. As a cinematographer, an important task we perform is creating a consistent look of the material, blending shots from different days and even different camera units in order to create a singular experience. This may seem like a small task but I would argue it is one of the most important skills a cinematographer who works in narrative storytelling must have.

Superb work, your Mastery of technology creates heightened atmosphere , adding visually charged tantalizing edge to the drama. Watched it twice. Thanks.
Thank you Debbie. I wish all my film reviews were as fantastic as yours! I have a new short film "Waiting For Goodbye" that will be screening on the film festival circuit starting this fall. We have submitted the film to the ASFF in York which takes place in November. Hope to get accepted into the festival. Keep an eye out for it. I would love to have you review it! What is your day rate?
Cameron, my rate is determined project by project. There are too many variables to provide a "base rate". I am not a union cinematographer so I do not quote rates based on a union scale. If you have a project that you would like me to quote, please message me and I would be happy to provide you an estimate. Thank you for your query.
