Hey Folks! I love to write about the Golden Era and am fascinated with the '20s, 30s and 40s. I've written a biopic on a famous actress that has essentially been demonized by her daughter in hopes of explaining her side. I live in LA - which means I'm struck in traffic a LOT. So I have more time to daydream instead of write lately. Nice to meet you all!
I love the 20's, too. Such a fascinating time period. Your biopic sounds like it has some juicy stories to tell, who/what's it about?
Waiting to read about this person. I love those eras too.
Thanks for your comments! I hope this responds back to you guys...I'm new to this forum.:) Well, here's a hint: Her photograph was in my last post :) It's her story before she became famous, so many people don't recognize her pre-1940s :)
I looked at the big eyes: Bette Davis?
Joan Crawford - Mommie Dearest.
Omg. We must be friends. Old Hollywood is literally my life. Sorry I sound very fangirlish right now but this excites me. Let's talk!
And it's definitely Joan Crawford. Ralph's got it!

So my question is, are you listening to You Must Remember This? It's essentially crack for the Old-Hollywood obsessed....

I thought about Joan Crawford too. But I couldn't get past the eyes.
I think the quote is on the wrong picture because I'm pretty sure Joan Crawford is the only answer. Amy - looking that up now!
