Hello there Stage32, my name is Caesár! I have been a member here for two years now but never actually introduced myself I am an actor from the Netherlands. I have always enjoyed acting and performing, as a kid I was signed to a casting agency that got me in two print commercials and a TV commercial. In elementary school we had a stage in our classroom and performed small class plays occasionally. During middle school and high school I was always the silent kid in class but my shyness was always completely gone during drama class where I could transform into hilarious characters and make the class laugh and forget that I was actually a silent kid. The class plays and drama classes are the closest things to theatre experiences that I have next to the school play Mogadishu where I played Chuggs from scene 3, it was performed in the Paardenkathedraal building in Utrecht which was pretty Awesome since actual stage plays have been rehearsed and performed there. I did however sign up as extra for the Dutch TV show SpangaS which became a featured extra role eventually, next to that I have appeared as an extra in various Dutch films and I had a small role in a short film called Bike Cycle. After high school I auditioned for a screen acting college and two theatre colleges but didn't get accepted unfortunately. I decided to major in animation-audiovisual instead because animation and video editing were my other hobbies next to acting so I decided to get a degree in video editing while doing acting as a hobby and focus on acting full time after college. (Also, video assignments required actors and I was often the main actor during group video assignments heheheh) During my second year of college I started losing motivation and feeling like four years of college was way to long so I tried contacting my teachers about speeding up so I could get my degree one year earlier. Unfortunately by the time that the right teacher received the message and could help me further we were at the last six weeks of college and I was already missing important assignments so it would be unrealistic for me to catch everything up according to them. I lost all my motivation to continue college because of that, I remembered a poster in my classroom which promoted a brand new Performing Arts major started by my college and I looked it up while I was on my way to a voice over workshop and noticed that the major would take three years so if in total I would get my degree one year later than usual. I decided to go to the information evening and audition for the major and I got accepted so I am currently attending the Performing Arts major of my college which I love because I am finally doing something that I really enjoy! Anyways, that's my story about acting! I think it's really Awesome that I can meet new people here from the whole film/entertainment/acting industry and who knows, maybe we'll collaborate sometime in the future =) Have a nice day! ~ Caesár

Caesár i'm so glad that you decided to introduce yourself in the community after two years. Your story is really inspiring. It proves that if you are born to create you should let no obstacles get in your way. And I'm really happy that you found a school that is tailored to what you love. Is there a lot of filming being done by you and the Netherlands? Or do you have to find that you have to travel to neighboring countries?
Thank you Amanda! Right now I am working in the Netherlands but I would love to travel to foreign countries someday I did however work on foreign films that were shot in the Netherlands
