Anybody else do this shit? I'm going to pick up my kids early from school for the dentist and I'm thinking about scenes to make my short script into a feature length and I realize suddenly I'm on the complete wrong side of town. AND I've allowed a Taylor Dayne song to play on my radio AND I'm singing along. This, to me, is scarier than rogue clowns.
So to make this more relevant, does anyone have tips to staying focused on regular life while trying to write?
If you're married, schedule (privately) a date night for every two weeks. That way you don't forget them while you're IN THE ZONE.
...but, Taylor Dayne?! For Christ's sake, don't allow that disruptive crap. Stand for something my man!
Tell it to my heart, dude.
Ha!

Oh my god Travis. No, I haven't. I did though screw up a date by saying "This could make a great short." Yeah...this is why I'm single. LOL

Alicia... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pWdd6_ZxX8c Yes, she is talented but not my cup of tea.
Keep trying Rich, maybe look for dates at the movie theatre.
LMAO!
I lean towards Pat Benatar and Anita Baker over Dayne.

Travis, I got one for you...Driving down the road, thinking of scenes, or things I need to do and I realize I have no idea where I am and why I'm even in the car. I kept driving for awhile, trying to figure out how to get home. Now that's scary.

Missing my stop in my daily commute because I'm wandering with my character somewhere else!

@Ester.... And then you realize that, at this altitude you can run flat out for three miles before your hands start to shake. All this while singing Taylor D. tracks.
