Steven Fazekas

I am new to the site and looking for material.

Hi my name is Steven Fazekas,. http://m.imdb.com/name/nm0269765/ I have an independent production and management company. We have a development fund. I am looking for quality material to develop. Films that can be done for $5 million That can be produced independently. . Either Sundance type of films. Thrillers. No horror. Also, studio projects as well. We also manage writer directors. We are affiliated with several of the major agencies.

Fascinating. This is the first time I've really sat down to look at Stage 32 since I joined a couple of months ago, and what do I see... a guy looking for quality material to make a thriller that can be independently produced. Was it fate? LOL. I have a dark fantasy thriller concept itching to become my next novel and I think it has that unique flavor and quality that merits a push for going to film. A snarky schizophrenic Hispanic hero. A psych doctor with hidden agendas and illegal military experiments. A quirky romance with the girl next door. If any of this is catching your attention, let me know. We can chat more elsewhere. In either case, its good to meet you Steven. If you're not interested in my crazy idea, perhaps I know someone else who might like to meet you. I network with a ton of thriller authors. :)

Awesome great to hear from you... Just curious (as an aspiring film maker) what kinds of things really make potential project stick out to you? Are their specifics that pop into your head right away? Also, how far into the process does a project need to be before you'd get serious about getting behind it (are they just ideas or are they usually well developed with a good amount of notable names attached)?

Kelly Stanphill

Hello Steven. Are you only looking for thrillers? I have a darker MARLEY AND ME script called DOG.

Nick Aquilino

HI Steven, I am curious about your post -- the part that says you have an interest in Sundance-tyupe material. I'm wondering whether you might consider a project that resembles "The Eagle Huntress," which is already shot entirely in Mongolia and in the can, in need of finishing? Obviously, coming on the heels of that very successful film, it would be a worthwhile pursuit. If you like the trailer, you might want to look into completing the post production: http://www.genghisheroes.com/promo.html Please feel free to contact me if interested: nick94965@yahoo.com
