About Steven

Steven Fazekas collaborated with such name directors as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas. He became partners with George Lucas's producer of Raiders of the lost Ark and Return of the Jedi. Howard Kazanjian.

Kazanjian and Fazekas were offered a producing deal at Universal Studios and set up offices there and developed movie projects.

He was hired by Michael Eisner and Jeffrey Katzenberg to come to Disney Studios. He served as a Vice President of Production, overseeing the making of two-hour movies for the Disney Sunday Night Movies.

Fazekas found and developed the screenplay Demolition Man with his partners Howard Kazanjian and Joel Silver. The movie was produced by Warner Bros. starring Sylvester Stallone and Sandra Bullock.

Former studio president and producer Robert Shaprio hired Fazekas to be a senior vice president of his production company at Warner Bros. Studios. In that capacity Fazekas oversaw the development of several movies for Warner Bros. and other studios.

Over the next several years Fazekas continues as an independent producer to develop projects for Hollywood studios for both motion pictures and television.

Most recently Fazekas has set up Crescent Heights Films to develop movies and television. In place is a development fund.

  • Demolition Man

McNickle hides out from the police in a nearby suburban neighborhood where he is befriended and helped by two local children who think he is the real Santa Claus. McNickle takes advantage of the kids naivety to help him get his counterfeit money hidden somewhere in a local department store while he develops kind-hearted feelings for his two con victims that make him slowly understand the true nature of Christmas.
