Introduce Yourself : Filmmaker by Carlos Hernandez

Hi I am Carlos Hernandez, I'm from Atlanta and always had a love for film. I'm really wanting to help people on their indie films. Looking to network with people that want to calibrate on shorts and eventually shoot a feature. I have had difficult time finding friends that get past the idea phase. I work full time in the pool business as a service tech and it drives me insane because I am a creative and can get pretty depressing. I have been able to do a internship as P.A. on a feature with a nice size budget and loved every minute. I had some more P.A. opportunities come from that internship but was not able to pursue due to my 9 to 5 job. It would be different if I didn't have a family and could have taken the last min day play gigs would be working in the industry full time. On that note I have been doing my on shorts with the little resources that I have and been tryin to write to create. learning from my mistakes and getting better. That is my life currently lol. Sorry if that sounds like I'm complaining I'm not it just can be little frustrating because I feel like no one understands me especially with people that are currently around me but I'm forging ahead.
