Your Stage : In Development 'They're Out' - my debut feature film by Colin David MacDonald

Following the death of her estranged homophobic mother, Lindsay witnesses a horrific murder/suicide and is left to deal with the traumatic fallout. As she finds herself struggling to maintaining her sanity, she begins experiencing gruesome hallucinations at the hands of a malevolent entity that is using a deep seated trauma to torment her. My dream had always been to make indie horror films and after making countless short films and music videos over the past eight years, I'm ready to pursue that dream. I began the writing process for They're Out over a year ago and have since completed four drafts, secured lead actors and created an extensive proposal package for a national funding application. I've also been blogging about my process of developing this project, which I hope will eventually serve as a resource for other emerging filmmakers.
