So I quit my day job last July to write full-time. Every morning I wake up and live the dream, and the sacrifices are small compared to the freedom and joy I finally feel. I've had comedy scripts do well in contests--BlueCat, WeScreenplay, Nashville Film Festival, and the Nicholl--with another short currently submitted to Austin, Slamdance, and Page.
I only pray my big break arrives before my savings run out. God, please don't send me back to Corporate America!
