During her twelve years with Harvest House Publishers, Kimberly discovered numerous new authors—finding success with various book deals, Christy nominations and awards, and Publishers Weekly star ratings—many establishing themselves as the fresh and relevant voices within the CBA market in both fiction and nonfiction genres. In 2009, Kimberly was pleased to launch Living Word Literary Agency where she was quickly voted into the ECPA. Though in limited quantity, she continues to sign authors and submit passion projects, finding them a home within the publishing community.
In 2010, Kimberly joined George Fox University as an Expert Advisor for Artifact II—that is guiding students acquiring their PhDs through the process of transforming their academic dissertations into mainstream publishable works. She designed the template used in the course, and continues to enjoy teaching students how to find their most unique and accessible voice on the page.
In addition to this position, Kimberly offers her fulltime freelance editorial and writing services through ReVision Editing Agency, which she introduced in 2009.
Kimberly is a screenwriter whose works have placed in many high profile contests such as Nashville Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, BlueCat, and the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship. She is an author, freelance ghostwriter, article and book contributor, and blogger at . She is a member of the ACFW, the Willamette Writers, and enjoys judging various writing contests such as the Genesis, Lone Star, and First Impressions. She is also a sought after speaker and instructor, and finds joy in helping mainstream publishers and Indy authors alike polish those projects that they will only trust to someone who understands its worth.
