Email format for Agent, Producer, and or Manager

Hey everyone! Hope your day is going absolutely wonderful! What way would you guys format an email when sending one to an Agent, Producer and or Manager to consider reading your script and or representing you?

Steven Harris Anzelowitz

There are (2) books I will suggest that could help: 'Bankroll' How to finance your Independent film by Tom Malloy & 'Reel to Deal' by Dov S-S Simmons. Good luck!!!

Keep it lean and mean. Beyond a one sentence intro, the logline, and your contact info, no need to really include anything else. It's the logline which will elicit a response (or not). Bear in mind, the vast majority of places won't look at unsolicited material or a script without a referral, so you could send out 100 queries and not get a single response. But it only takes one, so if you have a killer logline, you never know...

I'm old school so I like to meet with Agents in person. But that does mean that you have to get out there to meet & greet the players. I admit that it takes time to make the connections (I'm sweet 16 with 56 years experience) but it's well worth it. E-mail has recently become as welcome as the ever obnoxious robo calls. Best of luck to you.

I emailed my log log-lines and got a response, 1 out 15. Anyone can tell a story but what differentiate us from everyone is the EXECUTION.

Start by googling "Screenplay Query Letter" or similar. It will help if you can list recognition from prestigious screenwriting contests in your query letter.

Hey, you have to have 'Balls' with your Screen play. Remember, it is better than the rest.
