One of my piano students said to me that he heard of an interesting experiment:
The audience was shown a movie without the music and the same movie with the music. The result of perception each time was different. When there was music on the background the audience was connecting with the movie on a much higher level. For me music is magic. It helps me when I'm sad, lonely, feeling like crying, it shares with me my happiness, my joy. It's my best friend who is always here...
