Introduce Yourself : Nice to see and be seen by Laurie Lamson

Taking a moment to check out some of your introductions and feel happy learning about everyone's talent and tenacity.

This week I will revise a corporate promo script (I do a lot of educational and promo scriptwriting) then work on a new outline/treatment for an optioned TV pilot - combining some new ideas with my original approach that the producers just saw for the first time.

Just got tickets to see my first feature script that's been produced. A writing assignment I had years ago to adapt a nonfiction book with other aspects of the author's life for the screen. The director adjusted for very low budget and updating a bit, shot last year, and the movie is just about finished. Screening at San Francisco Indie Film Fest next month. Excited, curious and a little nervous to see the result.
