I just got back coverage on a script through Stage 32's process. Most of my prior work took a beating. This one got a CONSIDER/ CONSIDER rating. I'm thrilled at the feedback and the positive notes.
I'm a comic book writer and I'm familiar with that ecosystem. This one is a bit opaque to me. What are reasonable next steps in the development process?
Should I move on to written pitches? Query letters?
I'll hang up and listen.
Rewrite. Keep improving the tale. Even a 'recommend' doesn't seal the deal.
Congrats!
Dan, thanks. Nelson, I appreciate the sentiment. I've got the coverage notes to work from. I was just curious about how to manage the business side of the process.

I’m a natural debbie downer and Coverage from any website is useless. You want coverage from prod companies & agencies. They are the people hiring, looking for new (new means cheap) writers.
You are a good writer as is; you come from the comic world. Just accept nobody wants to make your spec into a movie but your spec could lead to writing assignments for movies they want to make. Good Luck.
