I came out to Hollywood for the very 1st time this year. My short film Sundown was selected for HollyShorts. The Stage 32 panels were an eye opener for me. So many seasoned pros telling us just to go out and make your feature film. So I'm doing exactly that. We discovered a really good format for micro budget indie filmmaking when we made Sundown, so we are applying this to a two week shoot this January.
We are going into production with our first feature film Perfect Strangers, based on our previous short film under the same title. A Christmas Romantic Comedy set in the picturesque Scottish Highlands.
We are producing the film for £60k and have managed to secure 50% from private investors. We are hoping to raise the rest via an indiegogo crowdfunding campaign that will be launching next week.
