If you're not writing for someone else then write the story you want to tell and how you want to tell it. Stay true to yourself as a writer! Don't write for what people 'might' like or care about and remember that you will never please everyone, just write for what you like and care about. That's where you'll find your voice. #writing #writers

Darren: Couldn't agree more. I march to my own damn drummer.
I try to stay in one genre and be known for that, by having at least 3 or more scripts on my genre as my calling cart. I do strongly agree with what Dan MaxXx said. Last, be fearless, never edit your self, by saying, "this is too controversial." Go for it!

Darren, you're so DAMN right! Too many stories are out there that are yet to be told by America's movie industry and TV industry because the executives' Number One question is: "Will it sell?"
