hello everyone, I'm actually working on a project, a short South African thriller film. I am working on the first one with my friends and need to produce it, but it's never got that far, since January i was panning it but it's never gets done, and the second still in writing process. But I feel like nobody wanna work on it, or working with team student never gets serious. I love writing film, series and passionate about that, but those situations sometimes make me sad. honest advice will be great. Thank you

It sounds like you need to surround yourself with people passionate about the project. Paying people is a great way to motivate them.

In Hollywood, we sometimes refer to this phase of getting a film going as the "Come on Gang, let's put on a show!" There was an old Hollywood movie series where Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland would play a couple of young eager beavers with no money and no experience, but lots of chutzpah. Just through sheer enthusiasm and determination, they'd get everybody on board and by the end put on an amazing spectacle in somebody's backyard, and learn a life lesson on the way.
In your case you need two things in addition to chutzpah: a solid plan and a firm shooting date. Make a schedule you can shoot in two days. Pick a weekend. Tell everybody they are making the film with you on that weekend AND DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. Pester, call badger, guilt trip them into doing it. Tell them if they show up there'll be pizza and beer. You'll love them forever. They'll have good fortune in their lives. Tell them if they don't show up, they'll hurt your feelings. God will hate them. They'll never get married or have children. Offer Pizza and beer again. Whatever you have to say. But DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER.
Then stick to that plan and shoot that plan on those two days. And make it fun. Be hard driven, get what you need, but be the biggest cheerleader of all time.

Do small ideas, small cast & crew, single location, can be edited and finished on your home computer.
thank you very much, for your advice I will try it definitely. and try to work on that aswell.

I agree with @Dan One location, at best two actors but max three and min crew. The Art will out! Artists make successful films with phones and computers, for film pitches to studios, or just put them out on social media.
