About Fabrice

Born and raised in the Congo, I am a native French speaker who has always had a passion for storytelling and cinema. I took this passion further by pursuing formal education in film studies in South Africa, where I have honed my craft as a director, screenwriter, and actor. My work is deeply rooted in the rich cultural tapestry of my upbringing, combined with the diverse influences I’ve encountered in South Africa.

As a filmmaker, I have directed several short films that explore complex narratives and push the boundaries of conventional storytelling. My experience extends beyond the director’s chair; I have also written numerous screenplays, with a particular focus on the thriller, horror, and sci-fi genres, reflecting my fascination with suspense, the unknown, and speculative fiction.

In addition to my work in film, I have also acted in a variety of short films within my community, bringing characters to life with authenticity and depth. My versatility in the industry is further demonstrated by my freelance work, which includes roles ranging from virtual assistant to producer assistant, where I’ve been involved in creating budgets and film bundles.

I have also authored two books, where I explore themes that resonate with my film work, creating a cohesive narrative style that bridges my literary and cinematic endeavors.

With a strong foundation in both creative and technical aspects of filmmaking, I am continually seeking to push the envelope and create impactful stories that resonate with audiences on a global scale.
