Game O' Frigging Thrones: The Final Season Is Finally Over.

I watched the first three seasons of GOT and didn't order HBO when I moved to Texas. Then I broke down and ordered seasons four and five on DVD and only watched season four. For my money, the show had some things exceeded what I found tasteful. So I stopped watching.

Recently, there has been much debate over the writing in the last season of GOT and whether or not there should be a do over. I'd say there's snowball's chance in hell of that ever happening and fans should get over their disappointment and move on.

Speaking of second chances, the HBO show Deadwood ended nearly 14 years ago and fans will have a chance to see further resolutions to the adventures of Al Swearengen, Seth Bullock and their other denizens of that wild and woolly western town. How often does something like that happen?

Perhaps there should be revisions for other famous shows where fans experienced what they thought were unsatisfactory finales like Dexter and The Sopranos.  Or maybe they can make shows with interactive, alternative endings. For example, a GOT finale where Daenerys Targaryen doesn't leave the reservation and put King's Landing to fire and sword. Perhaps not.

What say you? As screenwriters, should we be allowed to write endings the way we see fit? I'm pretty sure I know the answer.

Tony S. I saw this. Still a snowball's chance in hell of happening.

Tony S.

Probably not. It's a satirical paper a la "The Onion." Navigate back, look to the right and see a headline for a story about Disney's acquisition of Pornhub.

What would you chose, premiere or final cut?

Tony S.

The poll may be for you, Phil. Just in case, Avid.

In regarding to this petition thing, its just that, people don't care about the hard process.

Tony S.

Perhaps, but the response thing is satire.

Theres petitions to change everything. What I don't understand is once it was clear that the show was massive, why not make more episodes per season giving more opportunity to round each character off and not rush it all into 6 eps
