Introduce Yourself : New to Stage 32 - Hoping to make things happen by Dan Herman

I have read some good reviews about this site, and I decided to give it a try. In the past, all of my projects have either been self-produced or self-published. I know that it is frustrating for those who are writers to spend your time trying to find someone to read your work and produce it. Believe me, been there done that. Trying to get someone to read or produce my very first screenplay was an awful experience. At that time, I decided to do things on my own so I studied video production at a junior college, did some public access stuff, and then went out on my own. There is a certain satisfaction that you get when you see your finished product (DVD or book). My two latest screenwriting projects (comedy short and a faith-based feature film) are going to go beyond what I can accomplish by myself so let's see if I can make the right connections here to get them produced.
