Hello,
Does anyone have a suggestion for a proofreading software? I just can't afford a professional read, all the time I need one, right now.
Looked a bit into it but with was inconclusive. I want one off line, so it works when I'm writing in Scrivener.
Any tips would be great!!
What Dan said. Grammar/spellcheck software like Grammarly won't understand the type of non-prose sentence structure that we scriptwriters use.
Do what Dan said. I submitted my very best screenplay with a typo on the first page.
That did not leave a good impression. Another pair of eyes would have caught that.
Software will not fix your proofreading issues. Reach out to me if you want to chat about it. I do proofreading and editing.

I am dyslexic. I have my PC read to me. It is easy to setup Text- Speech
Dan MaxXx, where can you get 1$ a page? The cheapest I've found is 70 for a short script.
Thanks you all for replying. My issue is indeed spelling, get's or gets type thing. So the reading will not apply. I didn't think of fiverr. Lindbergh E Hollingsworth do you have a suggestion of someone you have used and did a good job? Going to loo into this 1 buck a page. Thanks
Hi Vasco, sorry, I can't recommend anyone. Do follow up with Dan though.
