After 4 and 1/2 years there may be a light in the tunnel. I have an agent who knows someone who likes one of my scripts. If all goes well my 1st sale should be happening in the next month or 2. -- The lesson, PERSEVERANCE. Don't get frustrated when your sale doesn't come fast. Follow numerous paths at once if you can. Make some good connections and see what you learn.
