Hey, I'm Bob. I'm an animation professional with a couple of decades of experience under my belt. After creating and producing content for Cartoon Network, Disney TV, and DreamWorks TV, I am now building my own production company focusing on family-friendly entertainment.

Hey Bob! Great to have you in the mix. We have a ton of animators on this platform and one of our educators is Conrad Vernon who worked on SHREK, SHREK 2, and the latest ADDAMS FAMILY to name a few. You're in fantastic company.

Thanks, RB - I've been on Stage 32 for a very long time and even contributed an article on writing animation, glad to see more animation people joining.

My bad, Bob! I remember it well. Gonna chalk that one up to trying to meet as many of my fellow 32'ers as possible while on copious amounts of java!

Hi Bob
I'm helping a friend (fellow writer/director with his project based on a well known fairy tale that has not been really covered by the studios, Disney etc. They have created a graphic Novel based on the script. It's beautifully done. The art work magnificent. In addition I have a Family Sports script i have written that could easily be made into an animated feature.

Hi Bob.
I write animation scripts and I got some you could read if you're stuck at home and bored like everybody else.

Hey Mark - thanks for the offer, but my team and I are hard at work producing content - one of the few advantages of animation is that we don't need to be in one location to get It done.
Man, I wish I had a TEAM.

Bob, Mark's post gave me an idea...Would you be willing to make a post and expand on how you built your team and maybe how you got started in the Animation Lounge?

Hi Bob, I'm new to Stage 32, so really pleased to see there are animation producers here! Was wondering if you've any advice on how to improve one's chances on getting unsolicited tv series ideas to be seen by producers? I'm writing a series based on a mobile game I have out on Apple and Android. The subject matter and characters are multi-media marketable worldwide- so much so that I've already received concrete interest from major toy licencees (Inc Anjar and Becker Associates) and toy companies. All basically said if I make the tv series, they'd make the toys...so any tips on how to receive some attention from producers would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks.

Great question, Derek. I'd love it if you guys would take questions like this and any other content you'd like to share over the Animation Lounge. There are so many animators on this platform as well as thousands of writers working in or looking to work in animation. It would be fantastic if a few of you in this thread would spearhead the effort to get that Lounge moving, active, and filled with pertinent, motivational info. Hopeful you'll pick up the torch!
