Speaking of Texas and film, I noticed in IMDB that Matthew McConaughey has been in a couple of your movies. Such a great actor. He's from Tyler, I believe, which is a stone's throw from my dad's hometown of Longview. We had a common friend in Longview, but I never did get to meet him.

FYI, Phil, McConaughey is not from Tyler (where I lived for 6 years a long time ago and until recently had a lot of family there). He's from Longview.
I don't know where I read that he was from Tyler. A Wiki search would have cleared that up lol. Born in Uvalde, moved to Longview. Check.
