Hello, Stage 32’ers. My name is Jason Barrett, and I’m based in the Washington, DC area. I’m an actor, singer and a poet. I’ve done many theater productions which were written by local playwrights. I’m interested in booking guest star roles for tv shows and films, commercial work, voiceover work and publishing and presenting my poetry in the film world.

Hi Nick. It’s nice to meet you. The acting community in DC is small, filled with opportunities to study and be involved in theater. Regarding the film side, there is industrial work and government-type training videos to do through a few of the main agencies that hire actors. It’s a good city to start performing in because it’s not big. How do you like LA? How’s the scene there? Jason

I love California it is a very wonderfully creative State. Thank and say that because I am from California. LA is wonderful if you like the hustle and bustling of activity. It is very creative but it is also very competitive. Everything right now is shut down but in a month or two Everything should start coming back to life.
