Hi everyone! I am Sandra Okuboyejo. I'm a Nigerian-American actress from New York. I was recently in the Chicago cast of HAMILTON, TOMMY on CBS (starring Edie Falco) and NOLLYWOOD DREAMS at the MCC. Though I'm an actor, I have been simultaneously collaborating on book music and lyrics for my original musical "Halona and Ophelia" (written with my dear friend and collaborator, Hanako Greensmith).
I joined this group because I have been interested in writing for some time, and have a few screenplays developed, 1 in particular that I'm looking to expand on with a producer/director. Hope everyone is staying healthy and sane during this time. Can't wait to collab. Xx

Welcome, Sandra. I liked Tommy. Sad to see that it was canceled. I work for CBS in market research and know they tested the crap out of that pilot, trying to fine-tune it with hopes that it would be a success. Best of luck with your screenplays. I'm moving in that direction as well.

Saw Hamilton in Chicago back in November. Thought it was fantastic. I came in a blank slate so the first half I thought was cool and the second half I was trying not to openly weep :)
