Screenwriting : Screenwriter, video producer, by Gene Lenore

Gene Lenore

Screenwriter, video producer,

I have a completed full length comedy screenplay ,connected with a director who wants to direct my screenplay and we have developed a pitch deck for the project. What I need at this point is a way to move this movie project forward without spending funds which I don't have to hire professional help. What suggestions do you have?

Gene, I recently took the advice of another Stage 32 member and developed a lookbook for a screenplay she read of mine.

I posted the lookbook here on Stage 32 (as well as on Script Revolution and networkisa.org), and you're welcome to put your pitch deck here on 32 as well.

Wishing you all the VERY BEST, Gene! Glad you're here on Stage 32!

It sounds like you need a producer who is willing to work for no money upfront. Plenty of producers do this when it's their project, but to get them to do it for your project, you'll need to wow them. That is if you want a producer worth their salt. As Jim mentioned, creating a lookbook might be one way to do this. Once you have that, network with producers on this site and post your project on places like Inktip, Slated, NetworkISA, Script Revolution. Best of luck!
