Hi All, I come from a storytelling family, my father is a musician and my uncle was a carnie (MAN, he had some stories). I started out acting but it has always been about the script and whether I agree with the “moral of the story”. I decided to try writing for myself, first in writing sketch comedies (which I sold) and now pilots. I am experimenting with writing series and it’s all very new to me so if you have any advice, please help. Thanks , Anna

Hi Anna welcome to Stage 32. I'm pretty new to screenwriting as well and even though I have experience and success as an author, I have found the process to be frustrating and rewarding all at the same time. I always heard other authors say the more you write the better you get but I never believed them till I began writing screenplays. With each screenplay I find that my original message is clearer and I don't have to do so many different drafts. Even though it is still good to do a few. Hope you enjoy your time on the site.
