About Kadu

My life is a typical rollercoaster full of loopings. Initially, my objective was to be a basketball player or a professional musician, drummer or bass player. Time passed, dreams were left behind and after countless attempts to find what to do, the only plausible option seemed to be working at my family business, as a Human Resource Analyst. In 2014, at the age of 27, I realized that all these years one of the things that made me most happy was going to the cinema or simply to watch a movie, so I decided to change everything. Over the past six years I wrote and directed several short films, always independently or academically, while studying more and more to actually pave my way as a filmmaker. I had a professional experience as a crew member in the direction department of “A Gloria e Graça”, directed by Flávio Ramos Tambellini and written by Mikael Albuquerque, which received several international awards. I also have an experience with television while I was at MultiRio, a municipal education company.
