Hi, My name is Lau'rie (Luh-Ree) Roach, Re for short, and I'm an Actor currently in Atlanta, Georgia. In Atlanta, I've worked with the Alliance Theatre, True Colors Theatre Company and, recently, Vanguard Repertory Company, to name a few. Other regional theatres include the North Carolina Black Repertory Company. Some film projects that I've worked on include This World Alone and Po Psi Broke ( can be viewed on YouTube). These projects have made their film festival rounds and have won awards in amazing cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, and as far as Italy!

Welcome, Re!
John Ellis Thank you!
Great to have you here, Lau'rie Roach! I am the Director of Script Services at Stage 32. What are some of your favorite genres to work in?
Sorry for the late response, still trying to get the hang of this platform. And WOW! Nice to meet you, Jason Mirch , don’t judge me too hard on my answers please lol. The ones that I get the most work from and also enjoy are Drama pieces, with a small mix of adventure and or action elements (if I’m making sense). And some Comedies. But, aside from Drama and Comedy, I would love to work in Sci-fi (Altered Carbon Sense 8, Star Wars), Crime Films (When They See Us, 7 Seconds), Thrillers ( Black Earth Rising) and since I’m a big kid at heart, Superhero fiction (Watchmen, Black Panther). The examples are from projects I recently finished watching or that came to mind. But yeah, that pretty much sums it up with, of course, plenty of room to explore and experience new genres in the future.
