Hey everyone! I hope that all of you have been staying creative, productive and healthy. With the film/entertainment industry recently re-opening last month (hopefully it stays that way), what projects have you been working on and/or working on next? And how have you been finding these projects (referral, job sites, etc.)? Would love to find out what people have been working on. Cheers!
I've been able to find work through various outlets. Right now, I'm working on a few scripts, some short and some features.
I'm doing great Maurice, thanks for asking. Seems like the both of you are staying productive and consistently creative. Loving it!
I finished principal photography on the pilot of my series Sin 13 just before the lockdowns started in L.A. - and then went through post and planning for the premiere, which we just did on July 11 - which was also the first day of our rolling launch for Facet.TV! We have several series, a couple features and are negotiating with sub-distributors and producers right now to bring on more and more content throughout the first year of Facet TV. It's been an amazing amount of work - isn't slowing down - and is very, very exciting! Here is a photo of myself with two of my cast - the lovely and talented Narlyia Sterling, and my star, the amazing Shotzie Cado, who plays the title role of Sin.

What I'm currently working on right now: Song covers and a music video for a musician/drummer/producer (does a lot of different things). Directing, filming and post-production (editing and color grading) on these projects. We shot everything yesterday in a studio (in a 3 hour span due to his budget constraints/not wanting to pay more for a longer shoot - it was difficult/will figure things out with post-production). Will be doing instructional videos with this person soon as well. Will possibly be working on a "Travel Channel" television series (13th season) in 1+ week depending on logistics with pre-production.
Exciting stuff Shadow! There's no need to always be working outside in a home environment, no excuses. Best of luck with the ongoing "Facet TV" logistics. Let's make things happen.
Always good to do different mediums of storytelling besides just one. The Travel Channel is 50/50, so hoping that I get it.
