Hello Stage32!
I'm a former London-based creative agency owner turned would-be screenwriter at the ripe age of 44.
Currently living in Bali and totally new to this business. I'm extraordinarily keen to make movies out of my stories and look forward to being involved with this community.

Hey, Martin O'Toole! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage32. Nice to meet you! Wow, it's like you're living your own version of Eat, Pray, Love! How exciting! Would you be interested in participating in the "Paris, Je T'aime" challenge I posted in the Filmmakers Lounge? It's just a fun way to get to know people through their city:

Well, you've definitely come to the right place! I think you'll find like-minded writers in the Screenwriting Lounge: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting Although, if you need a close-knit community, I can't say enough good enough things about the Writer's Room: https://www.stage32.com/writersroom Definitely reach out to Jason Mirch if you'd be interested in your first month free: J.Mirch@stage32.com
I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on the Stage32 Community:

Paha! Hey Karen "Kay" Ross Yes indeed, guess I did kinda do the Eat, Pray, Love thing for sure. As it goes, Bali's been wonderfully quiet with the panicdemic, so plenty of opportunities for peace.
Thanks for the heads up and welcome! I'll attempt to dive straight in. As I've gone for a full-on career pivot here, I'm keen to interact with and hear from as many industry people as possible, to ensure I can get cracking with a screen writing career.
Thanks again.
M.
