I just finished writing my first screenplay, went back through and fixed a bunch of typos. Yay. Now I look around, scratch my head and wonder what's next.
WooT! Congrats, Alex R Price! Definitely get notes to see where it's at - script coverage is a standard first step, but you can also ask peers for a script exchange. Reach out to Jason Mirch, our Director of Script Services, who can guide your next steps: J.Mirch@stage32.com
Well done. If you know any industry people or actors have them read your script. Another way is to be part of a writers' group. Other than that a "paid" coverage can help. There are so many people out there and you don't know what you are getting. Friends and family are useless because they will either be too nice or too hard depending on their point of view on you writing. I like to let it sit for a month before I do any of this. I also start my next script as soon as possible. because distance can give you focus.
