About Abdur

I was born to a family with secrets and cover-ups, the likes of which would make the Ewings of DALLAS (Lorimar Productions) blush - I digress.

A pregnant woman bolts out of a city building one Saturday night to fling herself into thick traffic. You see, sinister voices insisted she kill her unborn. On Sunday, much to everyone’s surprise, WE survived. Armed with family secrets, a violent birth-mother, and the freedom of imagination, I began writing stories to escape the horrors of my life.

As a child, the stories whispered during sessions of my family’s “Adults only conspiracy club” fascinated me. As a grown-up, science, history, religion, and the isolation of long military deployments, encouraged me to compose those stories, and thus a desire, no, a need to see the product of my suffering on screen became palatable.

I joined the military, after my wife of 8 years passed away. Nothing existed for me anymore, prior to raising my hand and swearing my oath. After receiving my honorable discharge from service, I dived into novel and script writing. Dipping my toes into the entertainment industry waters is proving to be very, very expensive, and educational - sometimes I get the feeling people like me aren't welcomed (name, background, and age.) Nevertheless, I find people who disprove this notion everyday.

I am from Queens, NY, and currently live in Virgina Beach, VA. Spent 13 years on Active Duty in the US Navy (Aviation), and five in reserves (intelligence). I build my own website, produce my concept videos - including 3D artwork, design, and animation, and am now attempting to get my screenplay out in the market. I self-published three novels based on my screenplay's IP, and will have a novella based on my series bible out in winter 2022. I have a BS in Psychology, am a pilot, and would like to share my life long efforts with the world.

Thank You.
