I'm the Creative Assistant at Ramo Law PC's Packaging & Sales Department, with ultimate dreams of writing for film & TV. I'm big on history and fantasy and basically anything that'll take you away from the current world--escapism at its finest. But will write mostly whatever will lead to a paycheck.
A chronic introvert excited to be a part of this larger creative community. Thanks for having me!

Welcome! Say hello to Stu and Tiffany. I haven't spoken to them in sometime and Stu's a big part of what propelled my work as a screenwriter.
Rolando Gómez will do, and glad to hear Stu helped you out!

Hey, Nicole McLendon! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. Nice to meet you! Oh, cool, I think our Director of Script Services, Jason Mirch, is also a Chapman U alumni - you should drop him a line! J.Mirch@stage32.com
Ooo, I enjoy history and fantasy as well! What would you say your top 3 in this genre would be?
I’m sure you’ve already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), but definitely reach out on the Acting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting) for insight into characters, dialogue, and even when you want to generate interest in a virtual table read!
I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect!

Karen "Kay" Ross Nice to meet you too! And I've emailed Jason before when my boss has set pitch sessions, but did not know he also went to Chapman! My top 3 would be Pride & Prejudice (the one from Joe Wright), Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, and Stardust.
Also, thank you for the suggestions, they're super helpful!

WHA?!!? I totally just did a watch party for a friend's BDay with Stardust. It's just so good. Although I also just watched a video essay about "Abduction as Romance" and it's stuck a small thorn in my enjoyment of it. But then I remember how hard Charlie Cox runs towards the wall to save her, and my heart just melts again LOL! Also - that choir of princes! LOL! Do you read Neil Gaiman books as well? I'm a HUGE fan of Good Omens.

Karen "Kay" Ross Love Neil Gaiman! I've been meaning to read his Norse Mythology book, but yes, love Good Omens! Was so excited when they made it a limited series. He came to speak at my high school when I was a freshman, and everything he said was just so entrancing, like literature embodied.
