Joined a while back, but haven't introduced myself. Just got word that my one-act comedy "The Good Life" will be presented this July by the Playwrights Center of San Francisco. A bit about me: the Dramatists Guild hosted a reading of my comedy for young audiences, Pirates, Mermaids, and the Girl Who Couldn’t Swim, which also appeared in Grass Valley’s 2021 NorCal/Nugget Fringe Festival. CSU/Fresno presented The Super Cilantro Girl, my play for young audiences based on stories by U.S. Poet Laureate Juan Herrera, which premiered at Turlock’s Lightbox Theatre. My film credits include Assistant Producer on "The Silence" (AFI, nominated 1983 Academy Award, Best Short Dramatic Film); writing a screenplay for the Cannon feature Deja Vu, and writing the story for the "Tommy's Lost Weekend" episode of the Warner Bros. sitcom Alice (nominated, 1985 Emmy Award). Looking to meet writers, directors, and producers who want to make things happen.
