Happy Saturday, Creatives. Working on a new genre for me today - Action. Mostly write drama and comedy or some hybrid of the two. Figured it was a great opportunity to introduce myself and see how fellow creatives thought about expanding their wheelhouses.
As for writing experiences, I was a finalist in the most recent stage 32 Features Writing and the most recent Stage 32 TV Writing contests, along with some placements in other competitions.
I feel like this is a great platform to get a proper gauge of where one's writing may be at, between the competitions and the consultations with executives.
I definitely feel qualified to tell a newer writer how to approach learning the craft and where to go once they've learned how to synthesize development notes- stage 32!
I look forward to chatting with some of you. Keep creating all the things!

Ha! I found myself trying to write a typical jealous woman. But as I wrote her hatred, I found she had a very evil streak. I could take it darker but I was trying to stay light hearted. The car was of course not driving itself.
