Hi there Stage 32 family, my name is Nick Bohle. I'm a television, film and theatre actor from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. I have a diploma in professional Recording Arts form the Art Institute of Vancouver (2010) and a degree in Dramatic Performance - Directing, Creation & Acting from the University of Lethbridge (2017). I specialize in strong, nuanced and robust characters in action, comedy, drama and indies, usually playing a lead role or major supporting character. I also own HatChap Productions Inc here in Lethbridge using our work to heal through the power of story. Furthermore, I am the vice-president of the Lethbridge Independent Film Society (LIFS) and a regular volunteer on many community projects. Can't wait to get to know more of you and continue this fun journey we've all undertaken.

Hey, Nick Bohle! Great to meet you, and welcome to the community! Wow, you've got a lot going on! I definitely dig your mission, "heal through the power of story". I'm working on a pilot about the consequences of "compassion fatigue" on healthcare workers, which I sincerely hope helps audiences to recognize it and heal from it.
Fantastic reel, btw! Did you work with a particular editor to determine the music, pacing, and intercut headshots? I'm sure you've already discovered the Acting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting), but I'd love for you to post in the Filmmaking Lounge as well! https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:

If you'd like a jump start on some great conversations in the lounges, definitely check out my latest blog post, which has a few leads: https://www.stage32.com/blog/SocialSaturday-Mining-for-Gold-in-the-Stage...
Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect!

Hi Kay,
Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I keep myself busier than most. Healing the world is a never ending mission which I am honoured to follow each day I wake up. I'm just prepping to head to set for my next production with MGM studios which is very exciting. As for the editing, colour grading, music direction, etc. it was all me. I have an award winning production company, HatChap Productions Inc up here in Lethbridge, Alberta. I'm a capable editor, colourist, sound recordist, engineer and designer, composer, producer, writer, non-profit creative executive, coach, documentary filmmaker, cinematographer and music producer.
My company is called HatChap because well... I wear a lot of hats both literally and figuratively and I aim to wear them all with style and grace.
Congrats on your pilot. That's no small undertaking. I also have a dramatic series in development so I understand the mountain you are currently climbing. All the best on the path ahead. Feel free to keep me posted and share your journey as will I. It's important tom learn from each other, I find. Maybe we can help each other avoid some land mines and find more resources.
Thanks for the info and I'll be sure to check out those links and start the networking bonanza!
Cheers Kay and all the best to you and those you love as the world opens back up.

Wow, you're a fantastic jack of all trades, sir! In which case, maybe posting in the Producing or Post-Production lounge?
Absolutely, that's what we're here for! Happy to post more about it... actually... Imma start a post in the Writer's Room Lounge and update through the comments. Thanks for the idea!
Yes, pace yourself on that networking bonanza, but enjoy the journey!
Would you like to read my Book(Noise electron attacks)?

Love your energy, Nick. Looking forward to seeing you around these parts.
I don't think we've been introduced, Nick Bohle. Great headshot. I can definitely see you in Action and Comedy movies. You have a lot going on (at least you did when you posted this). Hope you're doing well and you're having success with your projects!
