TV - 'Firefly' with original cast. 'Firefly was just a well written, acted series cut short way too soon. Movie - 'Predator' franchise. The 'Predator' franchise has such great potential that has yet to be explored.
OMG Chris ChapmanJonathan Kramer ...yes! I would PAY to see more of Taxi - and, as a long standing Team Xenomorph fan, yes please to more Predator even though the Yautja is an enemy. But (there's always a but...) in more Predator, I want to see it in vibrant color, not the (IMHO) dark, night only product that was the last 2 films. Ok team ...get to work!
Cherelynn..the only question is WHO could take Andy Kaufman's role? Jim Carrey did a good job with Man on the Moon and the Great Beyond..Chris Loyd and DeVito are still going too..One of the best sitcoms EVER!
I'm also not a reboot fan. To me there is only one Agent 007, one Columbo, one Dirty Harry... I much prefer that contemporary acting talent create unique & compelling new characters.
Cherelynn,...I would take the Predator/ Alien franchise to new levels. At this point in the franchise history, the 2 could playout quite well together as well as on their own. I am not a fan of dark/ poorly lit filming unless it is necessary for effect. Predators and Xenomorphs should be seen in well lit glory. I thought 'Predators' with Adrien Brody was decent and mis-understood. I was a fan of the Dark Horse Comics stories so I am bit of a geek when it comes to Predator/Xenomorph lore. I actually have a concept for a Predator t.v. series with 15 Predator specific episodes already. Add Xenomorphs and the ideas are endless. Neill Blomkamp was going to direct Alien 5 but it was shelved due to creative differences from what I understand. Sad as I think he would have added a strong entry to the franchise.
Wow - there are many shows on here, I have not seen! I heard of "Jericho" and think I wanted to watch but never did? I never really got into the Buffy the Vampire Slayer - though, I know some rabid fans that LOVED the show. Thanks everyone for sharing your reboot ideas! And yes, all Firefly, all the time!
"Jericho" was a must-see experience that kept all eyes glued to the screen. Excellent writing and casting. Not sure why it was dropped. When it was I was devastated.
Karen Ross, that is a great question. Also, did the 1990 Nikita TV series have to get permission from the 1997-2001 La Femme Nikita TV series and did either have to get permission from the 1990 movie La Femme Nikita? The 1990 series is a bit different, and the first series is closer to the movie.
"Sense 8" was a show that very progressive for its time. Canceled after only two seasons. Viewers were fortunate that the creators came out with a movie to bring the series to a close, but I would have liked to see how they would of ended it originally.
CHUCK was one of the funniest spy spoof TV shows ever made. It's got action, drama, and comedy, a great cast, great writing... and I just found out it's available on YouTube for $199 per episode, and it's available on Amazon Prime.
Hey everyone! Wow, so - so- so many great shows on here! Thank you for sharing which shows you enjoyed the most and would love to see more of. I have recently started Jericho on Paramount + and the first few episodes are really well written and I'm enjoying it!

The 60s British series The Avengers with characters John Steed and Emma Peel. I would also like to see new episodes of La Femme Nikita.

I may or may not have secured the rights to a book that was previous made into a film but no one has heard of. So, would a "re-do" be acceptable? LOL
