Hello, here we go again.
Is this a monthly thing? It seems it is.
Anyway, I am a Brazilian writer working on my first book series based on my own family history, which is ... well... legally insane.
So, if you like like family drama, ironic comebacks, cat killing Grandmas, interfering aunts, insane siblings all of that topped with an international scenario and two different settings, one in Germany and one in Brazil, this is the story for you.
I have some other WIPS but my main goal right now is to find an agent to publish my first book, edit the second, finish the first draft of the third, so I have enough in my hands right now.
At the moment I have six books planned in the series, in different stages of completion, but even the last one is outlined so I have a goal, and I can work towards it.
I am writing this first because I want to explore the representation of grief in Latin culture, plus the difficulties of becoming your own person when you come out of a narcissistic family system. And I have not found a single source for research which tackles a family cut off.
So I am writing it as it played out with me.
