There are lists of grant givers for films. Ill look one out and get back to you. Ok found it info@filmdaily.tv sends out a monthly list of film funds for both drama and doc.

This nobody from RSA - Neill Blomkamp did a short on alien invasion....eventually movie got to Peter Jackson (another self-maker) who was so impressed he gave him six figures and said do what you want next....result was same concept only in a feature format titled District 9, launching Blomkamp ad astra...

there are lots of fellowships/grants, private and corporate. I met a novelist/poet who received a McArthur Genius fellowship. $625,000 U.S. dollars, tax free.
