Also, I have to ask - do you ever find it difficult to write reviews of others work while also being a creator yourself? I've actively stayed away from publishing any reviews of films as a writer/director/producer.
I write reviews of others work when asked. I expect people to have an idea about how I approach the mechanics of storytelling.
I do some capsule reviews on my website, just why I thought a Hollywood film was well-made or not. I also review an occasional low budget film like The Endless.
I just finished a 30 page journal. I was explaining an odd meditation experience to a friend and realized I needed to go back in time to get across what happened.
