Hi, I am new to all this, I have been meaning to introduce myself earlier, but didn't how to introduce myself, so I finally got the courage to do it. I am from and still living in Oxford. I have written 3 screenplays, 2 horrors and 1 thriller. I have also written a couple of short stories. I write in different genres, from horror, thriller, world war2 to children's stories. I am disabled from an accident at work in 2005 had more time to write. I have written a couple of novels, but I would like to spend more time writing screenplays. I am keen on collaborating with other writers.

Hi Evelyn, not so much as swimming, more like doggy paddling. One stroke at a time.

Hi Maurice, I am doing well. Working hard on new stories. I hope you are well.
Clive, somehow knowing that from someone. :)
Hey Clive. Welcome. What are you watching these days?

Hi Normann, I'm watching old war and western films. I recently saw No time to die at the cinema and thought it was brilliant.
I haven't seen that yet. Old War and Westerns? Are you talking stuff like Saving Private Ryan and Good, Bad, and the Ugly? Ever see a film called Where Eagles Dare?

Yes. I'm a big fan of John Wayne, so I love his westerns and war movies. A friend of mine was in Where Eagles Dare. Her name was Ingrid Pitt and played Hiedi. Sadly she passed away in 2010. One of my scripts was written for her, for hammer glamour films, but she died a few months I completed it.
You had me at thriller and WW2 scripts. So great to have you in our circle.
I know EXACTLY who Ingrid Pitt is. She was beautiful. Had a good career with Hammer films. A very good actress. I was sad when she passed. What does a Hammer g
Hammer Glamour productions was a company set up by Ingrid, Caroline Munro and another actress from Hammer films. But after Ingrid passed away, they never carried on.
Hi Debbie, Thank you for the welcome.
I'm doing fine, Clive Woollands. Got some writing done during the weekend. What genres are you working on (the new stories)?

Hey Clive. Our Ingrid Pitt discussion took me down a Hammer rabbit hole! I watched Hound of the Baskervilles last night. I know that Cushing favored that as one of his best roles. Chris Lee was understated and the complete opposite of Dracula.

Maurice, I have just finished a fantasy script and working on a couple of shorts.
Normann, Yes he was in that film, but in other films, it's the other way around. They were great friends in real life and if they were the star of the film and there was a part that would suit the other, they would recommend them for the part. Christopher Lee was in the SOE during the war and part of Churchill's un- gentlemen activities.
Hi Casey, yes they were great, I still watch them now, though, to today's standards of horror films, they are films kids can watch. It's like comparing Hammer to the old Universal studio horrors.
You may be right about today's film standards. No one even conceived that movies like SAW and Nightmare on Elm Street would be acceptable to young folk! Back then, Horror of Dracula had an X Rating. My, how the world has changed...
What are your horror script about, Clive?
Normann, one is a psychological horror and the other is about who's grave has been disturbed and takes revenge on the ancestors of the people who burnt her at the stake.
